Scar Release Massage
Description
This massage treatment is a stand-alone scar treatment, using a combination of manual massage techniques and the Dolphin Neurostim. The Dolphin Neurostim delivers a micro current to the tissue which re-polarizes the scar tissue. This increases flexibility and sensation in the scar while reducing pain and adhesion. Each micro current treatment will reduce the density of the scar by about 24%, which will bring the scar to a more neutral tissue density after about 4-5 treatments. *Scar massage treatment on surgical incision sites can begin around 6-8 weeks post-surgery if there are no complications, and it has completely healed. * Please note, scar release massage can be included in any other massage treatment as well. This specific treatment is for the focus solely on a scar.
